Terms of use
Slyd is an application designed for pet care management. By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
What this document covers
Scope. These Terms apply to the entire Slyd application as well as additional services, including shared care, data synchronisation, and the Slyd+ subscription.
App licence. The application is licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA), presented by the App Store upon installation.
Updates. To maintain access to new features, you agree to install application updates.
Slyd is not a substitute for veterinary care
Slyd does not provide medical diagnoses, prescribe treatments, or serve as a medical device. Reference values, tips, and reminders within the app are for informational purposes only and do not take into account the individual health condition of your pet.
If your pet is unwell, please consult a veterinarian without waiting for a reminder or notification from the app.
Your data and backups
Data storage. Your pet records are stored directly on your device. We do not hold a copy of this data; therefore, we cannot recover your records if they are accidentally deleted or lost.
Backups. You create backup files yourself and are solely responsible for keeping them safe. We strongly advise creating regular backups to prevent data loss.
Exception. Pet profiles in shared care are stored on our server and can be restored on any device simply by logging into your account.

Slyd+ subscription
Subscription benefits. A subscription unlocks shared care features, allowing other users to access a pet's profile. All other core app features remain free to use.
Merchant of record. Subscriptions are sold by Apple via the App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID Account Settings.
App removal. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Payments will continue to be processed by Apple until you cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings.
Free trial. Any free trial period is offered by Apple once per Apple ID. If you have previously used a free trial, payment will be charged immediately upon purchase.
Refunds. All refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple according to their policies.
Data access post-expiration. When your subscription expires, you retain full access to all your personal records; only shared access for team members will be paused.
Shared care
Your choice. When sharing access to your pet with another user, you maintain complete control over what they can view and edit.
What participants see. Team members can only see the data of the pet you explicitly shared, along with your display name in the shared activity history.
Transferring ownership. Ownership transfer is free of charge. Once transferred, the pet’s digital records are fully assigned to the new owner, leaving no local copy on your account.
Prohibited conduct
You agree to use Slyd strictly in accordance with applicable laws. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data, interfere with the operation of the app, bypass technical restrictions, or set up automated processes to extract content.
If a violation is detected, access to our server services may be terminated. Records stored locally on your device will remain untouched.
Disclaimer of warranties
Slyd is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the app will operate without interruptions or technical errors.
Notifications. The delivery of push notifications is managed by your device's operating system and may be affected by system settings or battery-saver modes. Do not rely on Slyd as the sole source of reminders for critical health care needs.
Limitation of liability
We are not liable for any indirect damages, loss of data, or other harm caused by outages of third-party services or of your device. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited to the amount of the Slyd+ subscription for the last paid period.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting your records and account within the app, or simply by removing the application from your device.
Changes to these Terms
If we update these Terms, we will post the revised version on this page and notify you within the app. Continued use of the app following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, these Terms do not affect any mandatory statutory consumer rights provided by the laws of your country of residence.
